i was recently told in a thread that a 10,000hr 724 fendt will fetch much more than 35k, who the hell is paying that and how much life is likely to be left in it?

That is a rather open ended question. Should the tractor have the same care lavished on it as “Trigger’s broom”, then the life expectancy could be almost limitless, just depends on how much you want to spend on repairs.i was recently told in a thread that a 10,000hr 724 fendt will fetch much more than 35k, who the hell is paying that and how much life is likely to be left in it?
11,500 hours. Engine untouched apart from new manifold studs. Just had it's 3rd clutch, and water pump. Gearbox / rear end untouched. New rear tyres/ batteries / starter motor / exhaust.
Cost £15k S/H in 1992. What's it worth now ?
Then it's still only cost me £1.65 / hour. How much do these Fendts cost per hour ?fiver?
That's quite a bit of brass! 80k?My current oldest tractor has 8500 hours on it (6190R). I sold 2 7930s last year with 9750 and 11500 hours on. The 7930s had 4-5 years of needing over £10k/year each to keep them going but the last couple of years were cheaper. I wouldn't want to depend on these too heavily unless I had a spare available.
The most important tractors here for drilling & spraying are contract hired and have less than 3000 hours on each.
prob the same, been a cheap tractor then, how much u reckon youve spent on repairs? and how many hours on it when u bought it?11,500 hours. Engine untouched apart from new manifold studs.
