Jcb 526-56 heap of shite

Jcb 526 56 always bringing up fault codes sometimes wont take forward and reverse constantly jumps out of reverse into neutral and brings up fault code wont go in reverse until key is flicked on and off then takes reverse again for 2 seconds then back to neutral. Anyone ever experience the same problems?

How about posting the fault codes, and what you have so far checked.

Bad connection at the lamp unit and badly fitting / cheap bulbs will cause the BCU to cut that circuit due to current draw being out of what it expects.

She has had a new ECU new software update new joystick forward and reverse solenoids replaced. I should also say she is manual and not a power shift. But the dash is bringing up N4 when in neutral and 1 when in forward and reverse were it should just say F and R she was doing this before software update. I will post codes in a few seconds although it will be no help as wee have changed everything the fault codes point too !

in that case i bet it could be chafed wire somewhere earthing mine was no engaging drive some times and it was a wire earthing to chassis causing it, mine was in steering column.

Does the steering shaft still rub through the wires?

Our 526s did it,took ages to find out why it was blowing fuses.

I put some tape on the wires and made a steel guard to isolate the loom from the column shaft.

Last two names in his handle may be as much the problem as any 🤔😷
Instead of bleating on here what is wrong with asking your dealer ,

I asked my new dealer not the one wee bought the machine new off as they closed up hence jcb agency went to a new company.. who do you think installed a new ECU or joystick and dashboard and numerous sensors and solenoids and new jcb software? Do you think I just popped down the local for it ? The last two names in my "handle" as you put it is the reason I'm awfully pee'd off my machine at a cost 50 odd thousand isn't capable of feeding my cows every day and carrying out simple other tasks that it should be able to do.

Was a light hearted bit of fun , as SOME dairy men are terrible at maintance . And will destroy any machines , so sorry if any offence , put up all the fault v C odes and problems and will ask our not so local superb company who have had Jcb taken off then and given it to a more local shower🤷‍♂️ , but that a whole load more opinions ,
Easier if you had it from new ?
Than buying a turd some one has polished up and sold on ,
More info please

I've had the machine from new. All any dealer wants to do is see you out the gate with a new machine after that they dont give a toss about you. As far as I can see my only way out is to trade in against a new machine at least when they are in warranty they have to attempt to fix it properly or give me a machine while mine is down.. when there 1 of there mechanics had laptop plugged in she thinks she has a power shift box and is bringing up fault codes for it also but the machine hasnt got a power shift gearbox and no one knows why she is doing this so it be quite honest they dont give a dam what shes doing or why shes doing it in my opinion. I cant understand young guy just out of school college using laptop on a machine like this surely there would have to be training?.. you can look up codes your self same thing app as they use
