To much of these machines are made in China now , weather it is made under license or not is not good for the long term service life of machines, JCB need to get there act together before it is to late for the companyWhat’s the legality of all this as most tractors are limited to 40k?
Or just brakes in both axles....New brakes apparently
Yes that is the problem,Is the problem that JCB is too dependent on parts and components all coming in from the likes of China that it ends up causing delays in the development and production of their machines?
Or just brakes in both axles....
Nope my 310 has front onlyTm's already have brakes in both axles.
Nope my 310 has front only
I can tell you 100%my 08 310s doesnt have rear brakesI'm sure all the tm300 had brakes on both? So would assume all the newer ones would too.
Seems daft not too
Cheap skate of JCB . At least my now departed Manitou had them in both. The recently arrived Weidemann brakes are not the best, not sure what it has , but glad it’s hydrostatic as very little need to use them apart from roading down hill.I can tell you 100%my 08 310s doesnt have rear brakes
Seems there is 5 disks each side on the front and as it is permanently 4wd they omit the rear brakes
The Americans say JCB stands for Junk Cheaply Built...........Cheap skate of JCB . At least my now departed Manitou had them in both.
Maybe a bit harsh, but compared to Volvo, Komatsu, HitachI , probably. The Americans say JCB stands for Junk Cheaply Built...........

I know because I opened both axles up at 12k hours to check them as it does a lot of clamp workCheap skate of JCB . At least my now departed Manitou had them in both. Old post I know..... been in out of the front axle three times. Had to change the brakes too because the back off pins weren’t torqued or thread locked in. Last one came out a few weeks back, jammed in the crown wheel and blew the lsd out the side of the casting.I know because I opened both axles up at 12k hours to check them as it does a lot of clamp work
Brakes stayed in there ,as good as new
chicken50K in a bendy loader? I'd need a few shandies before trying that!
Any more news on its release? The JCB website still lists the TM320 with Tier 4.
Not sure the 50Kph appeals and certainly not something we need. Tier 5 seems more of a big deal for them than the end user. Any other refinements that make it appealing.
About to change our JD3800 and have to make a decision.
