Keeping the tractor running after nuclear war

Why? The need to till the soil will still be there and agricultural equipment will be helpful to clear up the debris.

I think it’s worth thinking about a contingency plan.
Kinnnell!
I wouldn’t be too worried about keeping the tractors going, cos If things really do kick off there ain’t going to be much left of this country and many others.

How is inefficient farming viewed as proper farming?
Just a little joke, hence the emoji type things. There really does seem to be a sense of humour failure on TFF these days....
Interesting to sit back and watch it all and chuckle really.
You have this.....

Juxtaposed with how to spaff £50 on an excavator threads.....

Don't know whether to laugh or cry.

Just been thinking about this. Moving a dead horse could prove problematic without mechanical assistance. Though I’m not a vegan I wouldn’t fancy eating a nag that had died from radiation poisoning (our ham is in a lead casket) so burial would be my preferred option. Wouldn’t be so bad if I had actually charged my neighbour (RIP) for the stabling.

If Putin presses the red button, counter measures go up to head them off. In the meantime he’d have the same raining down on all of Russia’s main targets from the rest of the world. He wouldn’t be able to counter it and would come of far far worse.

I think the reality is that one of his own will take him out before long anyway.
I was thinking about this yesterday
If Putin pushes the button, and the US intercepts the missiles.
Will there still be a nuclear explosion in the skys above us, leading to radiation raining down on everyone??

yes to a certain extent, but it's spread would be a fraction compared to the spread by it exploding on the ground and vaporising into the atmosphere. and most likely the actual warhead wouldn't break up , so could be recovered.

it is unlikely to be nuclear just a dirty bomb not pleasant for those in the plume.
of course hit depends on how sophisticated the Russian technology was
