Make sure the garage tent is well secured! We have used one for lambing in an exposed field away from the main flock and unless secured the wind can get under them. I have used ratchet straps and re-bars knocked into the ground to secure itI have 20 Mule Ewe lambs due 2nd week April. I will be lambing outside but live in the field in a caravan which should help. Looking for advice on equipment or anything really..
Things I have so far:
Purchased a big garage tent which will have 4 pens inside if required (running power to it for lights).
Just ordered a medium lambing kit which seems to have most bits https://www.tannertrading.co.uk/lambing-kits/essential-lambing-kit-medium/
Also went for a gambel restrainer as I will be on my own.
3 Teat feed bucket and a few bottles.
* Need tags and tagging tool
Anything else you can think of?? Especially as I am on my own...... Should I have injections at the ready?? A call to the vests is probably in order..

Yes muleman. They seem very happy and look to have grown well...from my limited experience!!! A few real stunners. I just seem to be constantly buying kit to manage/look after them. Hopefully I'll get there soon. Trailer next........jeez they are not cheap . I bet you are in for a busy period soonAre you pleased with your hoggs, have they grown on well?
All the best for lambing anyways!
I suppose thats where your expense comes in, in getting set up at the start, you will soon start to get a bit back hopefully!Yes muleman. Fox Lead at several thousand feet per second is quite effectiveNice sketch Puppet . I have 50m of netting so can copy that fairly easily.
AIR - fox tar sounds interesting. They are a big worry here for sure.
