Truth be told. I have no clue. That’s what I was told the active needed to be by agronomist. I’ll have a look on the pesticide database
Are you a member of the Maize Growers Association? They have very good technical guides which I would have thought covers fungicides too.

Ive had recommendations to spray for it in the past but never actually done it. Will be interesting to hear what you think once its applied. Mine all looks ok at the mo.

In theory it’s the perfect year for it as it’s wet and warm and 2nd year on the same fields. But then as you say how much damage am I going to do to the crop
was going to do mine but id trash under the sprayer
First year maize? Less risk I believe then. Who’s doing your agronomy?

My understanding was that if you had properly hot and dry weather throughout the season, the risk of eyespot was very low. In cool conditions, the risk is increased.

A lot of growers have never sprayed and wouldn't ever where I suggested they might want to spray.

Generally speaking, for a real-deal fungicide programme against this, you would need to go twice with it.
