Manitou telehandlers

Does anyone know the price of a brand new Manitou telehandler. I have a MLT629 2003 telehandler, and would like to know the price of a brand new machine of similar size and capacity.

I’d expect around £85-£90k

Our new one was £83k 14 months ago.

The construction ones are pretty naff can hardly pull themselves up a hill 75hp rather than 130 basic in the cab small fuel tank and I’m happy to be corrected but less steel in them I think

Oh I see. I do know a few people that have been tight and bought construction machines and they are a bit crud

Yes i have seen them on odd farm and they never look as tho they are suitable for farm work to me .

We had a builder re build the farm old farm workers cottages last year he brought his construction manitou and filled with diesel in our yard it only held about 40 litres was filling up every 5 mins

Yes i have seen them on odd farm and they never look as tho they are suitable for farm work to me .

As a replacement for a loader tractor for farm work involving road work no chance but as a yard based machine potentially a good saving to be had and less complicated long term when things go wrong.

A slow construction spec with a big enough bucket is still faster than a tractor loader with it's weedy lift

Oh maybe I’m wrong then but the tank was near the back of the cab where on the ag machines it’s on the far side rear of the machine
