The bloke on youtube, "Its a farming life for me" had a new JD with tyres that measured narrow. I think he said there had been a problem with the new moldings and they had stopped making them.

Was it in this video ? I skimmed through but didn't see owt about it ?

I don’t like the look of those bulges at all
Lugging big silage trailers at high speeds could cause problems
Last year I helped a mate fetching bales
Which involved a lot of road work
I mentioned it here that a split appeared in the wall of a nearly new tyre
Kirkby tyres refused to replace tyre but it was repaired by local tyre firm

Ours are 650/75r38 MachXBib so not exactly the same moulds but they do have noticeably straight sidewalls, not bulged like yours.

No it's actually pretty good for that to be honest no clunk when the 4wd comes out on the road anyway.

I'm just going off the extra drawbar clearance compared to another 215 at the dealer
When we had our valtra from new with trelleborgs it would jolt every time you released the brakes . BKT , smooth as silk now. I think tyre firms just make it up as they go along

Yeah I've had 1 6930 that was good for the wind up and others I've had and driven have been really bad .

A tyre size should be the same industry wide not just made up as per what the manufacturer wants to make it

@mf7480 the fronts are still the same as always but the backs are just stupidly narrow tread now .

Just measured the treads are 590/600 ish . Sidewalls halfway up so no extra bulge are 650 at least it's not easy to get a proper measurement
