Just been playing on the demo and it seems pretty simple compared to gatekeeper.
A few things I cant find: is there a stock centre ? how good is the financial side of it?
I see it now has nutrient planning and sentinel on it.

Been using it for the last 12 months-seems fairly easy to navigate around and if you have any difficulties, there is a very good help site in the form of videos or telephone. it is a work in progress though, as they are constantly bringing out updates or new features, whilst some of the more basic features of its predecessor 'cropwalker' are still not available. My particular bugbear is that there is no facility to enter other crop revenue in the gross margin-straw makes a major contribution to the bottom line here in South Wales !

Apparently, stock is being added in the not too distant future. As mentioned above, there are pretty much weekly updates adding new features

I just have straw down as a harvest product. Enter yield and value and works fine

Apple only. Last time I spoke to them about it there were no plans for Android. I just bought the cheapest I pad mini and it is perfect for it.

sure Ihad an email saying stock control will be running for next season

If you think there is something missing there is a website you can put requests on. Then other users can like the suggestions. Muddy boots then say when they are working in it. I have seen a few things added in this way

I’ve been playing again this morning and I am really impressed. Stock will be handy. Those of you running multiple sites (we would need 8 for contract farms) can you do a spray rec that can cover the whole lot or do you have to do each separately? Or do you save as a template then just re do it?

Been having a play around again with GLGM as our GK subscription is due for renewal! Quite like it. Just a couple of things tho if anyone knows the answer?

1. Can plans be added for things like cultivation’s so operators only has to put time and date in?

2. Machine costings, can a cost not be associated when machine is added?

3. Can multiple products be used in a drilling file?

I’ve just moved to it and have been playing. All these things I believe can be done, I know they are soon to release a better machinery costings section but you can do it already from what I’ve found.

That’s good. Going to have a chat with them this week. How was data transfer from gk?

No stocks. Apparently been a couple of months away since it was launched

I find it half a program. Would you buy a car before they’ve built the interior??

it’s all bloody frustrating what choice we have in the uk

I’ve been using it for a few years and find it very good. I have a field called ‘Chem Store’ with one application of all stock which is edited as necessary - not ideal but at least I have a stock record to hand at all times.

I know someone who is actually testing the stocks on beta at the moment, it’s months away.
Gatekeeper is utterly over priced and ridiculous, a terrible company that don’t listen to their customers. I have a lot more faith in muddy boots going into the future.
Gatekeeper replacement 3 years away.

You think muddy boots will be a direct replacement in 3 years or GK update not coming for another 3 years?

Sorry gatekeepeR replacement not coming for 3 years I have been reliably informed. Muddy boots it’s basically there from what I can see, few more updates soon hopefully. Links to xero and mysoyl which will be very helpful.
