Rescued a neighbors 620 yesterday. Circlip came off the planitery gears in the back end and the pins came out and went through the casting. 3years old 1500 hours. Dealer told him he's on his own. Bit worrying happening at such low hours.

That's poor form by the dealer
Must admit I was surprised. When we ran claas, they did a lot to help in various problems but that was a different dealer. I'd expect a generous discount on the parts at the very least but so far no. It needs a new casting and everything internal apart from the half shaft. Quite an expense at 1500 hours. I won't say anymore until we see what happens in the next few days but the initial dealer response was pretty much "go forth and multiply"

Imo you'r neighbor should contact Claas directly, usually a manufacturer is much more keen in fixing things up than a dealer (or they can kick some speed on the dealer).

The biggest contractor around these parts with 30 tractors bought a class two years ago as it was a lot cheaper than JD or MF , it has given plenty of small bits of trouble , enough for him to never buy another class .
