Spoke to him this morning he can't remember the number but it 110 hp with no front suspension has a loader tho
It's done a bit over 500hrs has had an sensor on add blue already and needs something done again as the light is on
Sensor on rear linkage needs something done as when on rough ground with bales on it locks out occasionally
Loader suspension is slightly faulty but he says it goes well for 110 hp and coming from him that's praise indeed as hp is key !! He's running 180 hp doing same jobs he used to with a 6400 and 2850 JD !

Apart from the first service we’ve always just used our local mechanic for any work that needs done as he worked for them for years. We’re about 6 or 7 miles from there yard

Handy enough then. We've a 420 with loader here. Apart from first couple of services and putting hyd implement locking on loader do rest ourselves. Other than a spool valve cable stretching it's only needed servicing.

Any updates on the new Arions?
Been considering one as I like the look of them, layout of the cab and gearbox options but I'm unsure about reliability, resale value and general engine performance (from comments on here)

I was just about to start a thread and came across this, Been thinking of the 440 with fpt engine but was looking at a 530 yesterday and felt the 500 would suit us better for stability with a front loader. Haven’t tried it but seemed a well put together tractor. It’s probably either a 510, a JD 6120 or a Valtra N but you seem to get so much more for your money with the claas I’m so tempted to go claas again.
Are the 600’s are the same as the 500’s just bigger or totally different?
Edit: forgot to say that I was interested because of the air brakes and wondered about horror stories too..

Have had two 510’s two 530’s now have a Valtra N154 active not such a slick gear change have to change your driving style after 12 months and 1200hrs never been happier

I went for an Arion 450 last year in the end. Way more spec and way cheaper than the valtra I priced up. Been really pleased with it but good to know you’re happy with the valtra too.

Arion 450 will be a good tractor with the FPT engine, was giving a lot of thought to the 450 or 460 but couldn’t get the 400 series with a 50k gearbox. Have to say to I have a second tractor now that takes of some of the hours on my main tractor but I was doing 5 to 6 thousand hrs in three years and when it came to change it was getting increasingly difficult with the depreciation

I don’t do anything like those hours but I’ve gone the other way..bought the claas to rack the hours up while under warrantee and save our valtra so it hopefully lasts longer.
