What hours did it fry clutch packs? My previous Puma fried it’s synchros at 1500 hrs the more I hear about CaseIh the more it seems to me that they are a very delicate tractor, not very inspiring

had the reverse clutch pack go on a 7030 last week, replacing the medium pack too while it’s split and fixing some weeping hub seals on front axle at the same time.

This is at 10,600hrs on a tractor that has spent 9500hrs as frontline machine on 4m 1pass, 5f plough, stone separator and a lot of roadwork and now spends its winter chopping carrot straw.

other than 2x brakes and occasional minor electrical faults it’s not been a needy machine. I wouldn’t say it was delicate at all and fully expect it to be here for another 5000hrs at least.

Also run couple older TMs which are on 8400 and 9000hrs and again I’ll be expecting to run them well into 5 figures.

Last JD we had only managed 4500hrs from new here and cost more in repairs than it cost to buy the bloody thing. 😖😖😖 still have nightmares about it and never bought another.
But right next door my neighbour has a 6930 autopower on original transmission with 12 or 13,000hrs on it and given very little trouble.

I wonder whether it’s the machines that choose us 🤣🤣

Have run jd for years but with the price they are now thinking of a change. Anyone run a t7 270 ? What hp are they without boost and when is boost available? And how much do they weigh? Thanks
Specs as mentioned, they are very reliable tractors, low cost In repairs compared to the 7R JDs. I prefer the NH over the CIH because of the layout In the cab. Cab could be a bit bigger but not really a problem, still a fine one. Get one on Demo, you might be suprised 👍
