Looked at a 270 optum the other day and it was not a machine I could live with the cab interior was so cramped it didn’t feel nice.

badly needs a refresh and a tidy up. Jd and Fendt cabs just feel so much better laid out and roomy compared to it. I know this wasn’t a t7 but there are similarities between them.

outside the machine was no better. I’m 6’4 and couldn’t reach the dipstick to check engine oil daily.

The talk for awhile has been Once the new cabs been on the T8 for abit its going to fiter down though the rest, if there waiting until theres a some t8 about with it on theres a 10 month wait atm for a new one

Why are you bothered? Previous posts don't indicate that you've got any time for blue paint.
The cab is 1 of the bits i dont like it just feels so cramped or somethin. If the new cab is betr and the dynamic command proves to be really reliable and they sort out the brakes and 4wd bearing i mabe could be persuaded. Just none of ther current offerings appeal to me that much

The new updated Puma are on the Case website with new cab which looks same at Magnum and T8, looks like a lot better laid out don't know when T7 pictures will appear but case are usually a month or more earlier, which is stupid when the are basically the same machines

The multi controller/command arm versions seem much more cramped than the older classic versions.
The sidewinder in the T7 I find to be a lot nicer and more user friendly than the half arsed attempt in the case. Think they call it multi controller. However I will admit although both are crap for in cab storage the red one is marginally better in that respect.

I've never drived a command arm but I really like the multi controller everything is very nicely to hand buy in combination with the dash up the corner does make them feel clostrophic and that's before you've added control boxes, screens ect to the rail but I do still like them and find them a decent enough place to spend a day.

I'm just sat in my, new to me, T7 235 sidewinder and much as I like the controls and most of it. I am really missing the near side box that the TMs have. :(

Yep me too no space behind the seat either, and at barely 6ft tall I need the seat right back. Designed by a dwarf I think who went home for meals and never carried any spare parts, instruction books etc with them!

it’s the little things I’ve noticed, yep there’s cup holderson left hand side but it’s part of the passenger seat so if I have an open can of pop and a passenger gets in there’s no where to put it. From an ergonomic point of view the TM cab was better

Have to agree with everything you say. Especially the cup holder thing. Really like my tractor but the cab is certainly a bit cramped.
