November 2020 Wheat £150/T

why can’t they just tell you the price ?

I tell you what happened. It was on the phone back in october i booked my tonnage then but rep didnt have a price. He told me they price in tranches and if I booked now ie (oct) would get the price for then but i didnt chase it up. Is it true they price in tranches?

I will chase it up and let you know how it ended up.

What should we be paying for October booked spring barley? £400?

of course they know the price ! Do you seriously think they buy it in unpriced ?

Don’t fall for the bull crap ! “Good relationship”. “Friend” ............ everyone thinks that right up to the point they find out the level of pee taking

There is one simple reason they haven’t told you a price I’m afraid

ie No seed treatment. Disease levels present do not require it, and will make it easier to keep seed to next autumn if required. Skyfall may be a better bet than imported spring wheat at £500/ton ?

I did think as much, though clarified to check.

I paid £370 for some Beret Gold treated Skyfall seed recently. The dressing itself is relatively cheap it would appear.
