No. Watching with interest. No more sheets to take off on a multiple cut system, great time saver.

Why doesn't the video show it being applied? How soon is it rainfast, not a lot of use if you have to let it "set" without rain for a day or two!

Soil, lime, citrus pulp, potato waste, molasses, rape seed etc have all been used to seal silage clamps in the past.

Plastic waste dude, if you stop using it, you stop wasting it.
I've no idea if this is any use or not, but a few years of R@D and it may well be. Who knows.

I liked her national centric stance as well.

The way things are going, plastic use on farm, will either have to be reduced, by law, or cost of disposal
and seeing how much we use, research into alternatives, needs ramping up, this might be 1 answer.

I fear having a pit of shyte come winter time
My plastic waste on my pit is around 120kgs of plastic covering 700ish tons
How do the bale boys cope with 3kgs of waste on each bale?

Ha ha, yes, they’ll be keener to stay and do that than they are to stay and throw tyres around!

I like how she says methane. Anyhow there have been people over here trying to develop this type of thing for nearly 40 years. Never hear much about it now days. I suspect the grant money to develop this has put the cart before the horse as far as it being a viable option any time soon.

Your right its not very informative! I asked if it would be possible for organic systems and subscribed but haven't heard back yet.

I does look good but I reckon it be fair dear, just a 3mm layer on our pit would need 2000 litres of stuff and I would assume it would need b thicker than that.

Then there is the problem of birds and rats finding what's underneath to be rather tasty. Could do a job with grass silage but might not be an answer for wholecrop.
