Yes it’s a ranger ev,new one is a Kinetic with 110hp,so probably very very expensive.
Think I’ll replace the Jimny with another Jimny.

I was told £25k for the bigger battery version.
If a gator is 30 then it doesn't sound so bad. If you say it quick as mother says
But was told the kinetic won't be here til late summer? Your nearby 1 presumably the old type?
We have had we're one a year now and can't fault it get s worked hard 8000 miles so far really good on diesel
Really good on our hill ground
She s doing 43mph on the flat
Our local keeper s can't get over the speed difference compared to there gators
The only fault I have with it is could do with more sound deading in the cab . But thats only as am travelling 6 miles between farms

How big is the difference on speed between Ranger and Gator then? Couple of mph is negligible.

I haven't done it. But had a gator that was done. I know a lad with a deluxe Polaris might go have a ride in it see if it's worth trying to add some sound proofing to mine

What is the extra cost to have the “ deluxe” option…. What do you get … other than sound proofing?

The old gators struggled to get to 25-30mph. I had a worker who also drove 855D’s and a new one at another farm and he reckoned my Polaris pulling the rappa fully loaded uphill was faster than the gators on the flat.

Last gator i had with a Speedo would do 34mph I had one borrowed once that did 37mph Polaris easily does 42mph sometimes sits at 43. It's not just the extra mph the Polaris pulls better up hills

Apart from the sound proofing and alloys,it’s trim and performance is pretty similar to our Corvus
We could have got alloys as an option but the flaming thing cost enough as it was

What is the rated towing capacity of the corvus? Don't no if I could have one every time I see corvus I think Corona virus. Is it a lot bigger than the Polaris? Before I got mine I tried a mule it was just to big a lump as soon as Polaris turned up for demo on trailer i thought that just looks right

I’ll have to check, they have altered a few bits since the test, I know they listened to the uk dealership and improved the turning circle, I’ve not had any ground clearance issues yet and we travel across moor and steep “rushy “ groundJust looked it's 234kg less towing capacity and 270kg less bed capacity even though it looks to have a bigger load bed 41mm less ground clearance .68m more. The rear tray is quite big and in honesty a little high which makes chucking things like drums of molasses a bit of a pain!
Don’t want to ruin the OP thread but can give an honest six months appraisal of the Corvus.. warts and all !
just had a quick look, ground clearance is 309mm
