If that's Buxton lime it is good , used a lot here but don't last as long , Cotswold lime will hold PH for 3 years longerProper lime
Not worked haulage out but well over £30 but some of the ground Limestone I've seen would need 4 ton on to match it , to much grit in it
Spoke last week , he said £34 now , almost bearable compared to other inputs
That's not bad to be honest , like above post says , the cheapest lime can well work out the dearest after you have seen it , look at the field after rain and see all the white grit still on the ground

Firm just a few miles from here do all sorts of lime ‘blends” some changes the colour of the grass over night, some is basically 10mm-dust limestone! Absolute crap

One supplier here was selling lime £2 less than his rivals but when it turned up it was crushed reject breeze blocks
Looks cracking stuff , just something about lime , I suppose because I was involved in a lot of land reclamation in my younger days lime was the start of new life on our acid soils , the key to it all really , well thats how I feltEarly morning start when theres no wind.
