Ah, okThe issue being is that engines have a knock sensor bolted to the block to detect knocking (retards the timing if knocking is detected)
So you do need to be aware of you're ordering parts...

Brakes, weights, and tyres are bound to fall foul of the roads Gestapo at some point, until then, let's enjoy using our hydraulic pipe to actuate the one working drum on the 30 tonnes that's running on bald 15 year old remouldsSerious offence for hgvs ā I presume it wonāt be long until they start checking it on tractors .
If adblue was removed/deleted from a tractor would it make the tractor sound noisy from the exhaust like an older tractorMost tractors use a knock sensor in the exhaust system to control part of the ECU is is part of the add blue system and if the system is switched off and this fails you still need to buy one to make the tractor run and 9 times out of 10 this is the problem with the add blue system

Why do you ask? Who do you work for?If adblue was removed/deleted from a tractor would it make the tractor sound noisy from the exhaust like an older tractor
Emissions? Am I alone in remembering back to the 1970's when all Ford tractors smoked like trains when working hard.......................??The problem is that technology is not ready for the current emission standard but lacks years back when talking about reliable function. When emission device problem kills the whole tractor for the third or fourth time with facing another bill of thousand Ā£$ā¬ I'm sure it's tempting to give it the 'final repair'. People care more and more about the environment but wasting money has it's limits. As long as the device is ok and using/storing Adblue is arranged properly people usually have no problem with the whole thing.
It's been a bit too fast with the EU/EPA tier legislation, technology not keeping up and CONTROL of the whole mess totally lacking. I'd consider the possibility to delete these devices as 'buffer' between the theory and practice of emission regulation. Those that are hit hardest can be helped.
why are you going to report himWhy do you ask? Who do you work for?
More than likely he's just wondering why some one from the media is resurrecting a few threads regarding ad blue deletes and whether noise is a give away.why are you going to report him
No just a strange question from the ā mediaāwhy are you going to report him
