Removing Ad Blue

Any warranty considerations? If you mapped it out then had an engine problem I doubt the manufacturer would help. There's a few people in TFF who have done it without any problems.

I've a cousin in Canada that got it deleted from his Deutz 6160 TTV loader tractor.

The dealer organised it

The adblue kept freezing in the winter

(Sorry, no help to the OP, I just found it amusing that it needed "officially" deleting because of the cold)

Most tractors use a knock sensor in the exhaust system to control part of the ECU is is part of the add blue system and if the system is switched off and this fails you still need to buy one to make the tractor run and 9 times out of 10 this is the problem with the add blue system

It's NOx sensor, not knock . And when Adblue system is correctly deleted NOx sensor can also be disconnected. In Sisu/AGCO Power engines disconnecting will show a DTC but IT WON'T derate power (when correctly deleted via remap). NOx sensor problems are seldom on most tractors, it was mainly Valtra T3 -series problem (T173 etc) due to the type of NOx cat packaging used.

Of all the people I spoke to they were still using the knock sensor,so we just sorted the system out and still use it,not sure were having it switched off will end

Not any more. It is viewed as a very serious offence and anyone caught with adblue deleted would struggle to keep there operators licence. Tractors are getting away with it at the moment.

Unless an ad blue system was acting up I wouldn't be getting it deleted. The powers that be aren't blind to farming antics like they once were and to much messing with emissions systems will only get the relevant authorities paying even more attention to us. I do have an ad blue tractor btw.

We've had 2 new hollands done as they was getting very troublesome and cost to fix was more than the ad blue delete. We had 2 done but both are out of warranty, still running another 3 others with the ad blue still functioning

The days of AdBlue delete in the trucking world is starting to be numbered, besides nowadays they are sufficiently reliable that costly breakdowns are rare enough.
*At least if you look at Scania or Volvo...
