I doubt it will look like that, apparently they are deliberately making it very cyberpunk in appearance. Its likely going to put an awful lot of people off!

...I can't wait myself.

Unbelievably there’s been no actual photo leaks. All these posted above are just impressions. Some pretty terrible :ROFLMAO:

Guess we’ll have to wait and see...

They have done a very good job of keeping it under wraps. I saw an interview with someone from Tesla's design team who was explaining how Tesla is not perceived like a conventional company, and so staff are really motivated to keep it a secret. It makes the surprise all the more worthwhile.

I think the same fella has let slip that the model S and X will be getting a design refresh soon, and I am quite interested to see how that pans out. hopefully they go less American/conservative and do something a bit more exciting. - It would be cool to see something very cyberpunk styled here too.

it's way better than the tesla
The comment on the online Tesla videos are remarkably complimentary about the Tesla's looks I suspect they are by out and out Tesla diehards who would pretty much support anything they do, and to be fair some people will like it regardless.
However the pickup market is huge in the states and the vast majority of pickup drivers are I would suspect pretty conservative in there taste so the rivain should do better but the prices have to be comparable

We have a deposit on a Rivian, but the prices are not cheap.
There are due to be 3 different battery specs with prices estimated in the $60-$90k range, due for the market in late 2020 so lots to play for in the next 12 months.
The projected 0-60 in 3 secs' could be interesting.
If you compare the performance and spec with a raptor - it’s really not that far away in pricing. 6 month waiting list for a raptor aswell. I have a friend who drills water wells for the hootenites in Washington. They buy 6 new raptors at a time and then change them after a year and get back what they paid for them.

You know Ian in so many ways the Ford is a better vehicle than this electric stuff, my daughter is keen on Rivian truck, but I will reserve judgement until its actually being driven out of the plant into the real world.

I’m a ford man through and through. I think when ford put their body and most importantly their dealership backup behind the rivian skateboard platform then we might see a horse worth backing. My company could be In trouble then.

how are things looking in your valley. No rest to the March of the almonds and pistachios here. Boswell has planted a massive acreage of the Buena Vista ranch to pistachios. 6 years until first crop - big investment.
