Might work in wet weather but won’t work in dry average weather . Soil seed contact is vital. How successful at establishing grass is mounting an air seeder with pipes like an Opico onto either Cambridge or flat rollers?
Having sowed a few acres of grass seed in my time I think the seed needs a wee covering unless you get rain fairly quickly after seeding I am impressed with roller seederSame field
Bare patch at bottom of pic is due to ripping out the fence at bottom of field.
Seeds dribble s down a tube falling onto a 3/4" round bar which spreads them . Great job
Very lightly over with power Harrow quite fast .How did you prepare the field before sowing? glyphosate and discs??

Yes . Didn't graze the second pic . Put 2cwt acre of nitrogen on a few weeks ago ,will hopefully mow ,bale and wrap around the 20/25 April then into spuds .And is that the last pass when seeding? Looks a good job.

This patch below was into spring barley stubble last Oct .
I went over the stubble with Dutch Harrow then over with seeder .
I use westerwold on the spring barley ground and a 3 yr ley mix on re-seeding .Top job that! What seed did you use?? Do you always over seed in the backend rather than early spring?
We've done it loads of times on amenity jobs. Stocks fanjet on front of compact broadcasting seed and a 10ft Cambridge roll pulled behind.
Despite the seed being evenly broadcast, it always came through in the roll lines
yea see the same with a roller drill 3 inch rows give or take but still alot better than 6 or 7 inch rows from a seed drillWe've done it loads of times on amenity jobs. Stocks fanjet on front of compact broadcasting seed and a 10ft Cambridge roll pulled behind.

The deeper roll lines got more moisture and a better germination rate .We've done it loads of times on amenity jobs. Stocks fanjet on front of compact broadcasting seed and a 10ft Cambridge roll pulled behind.
