Noel was a builder and has been farming and contracting for past few years. Moved over from Ireland many years ago with a fiver and a Ford cortina.

Family that's involved in oil business meant to have bought it. Just rumours at moment though.

Because it's a Roup , like some of you southern lads have terms like "tack" grazing and other strange phrases.

Its normally used in the North East of Scotland and derived from Scandinavian languages like a lot of other words. Stoor = Dust, Norweigen for Hoover is "Stoor Sooker" or "Quine" = Girl

Get some of these Aberdeenshire lads newsin (talking) and you will think its another language. "Takes wiks tae tune yer lug in"
