The instructions/ manual that came with that new handpiece horners pics and description shows very straightforwardly how to set the cutter and comb.SO...shearing again....BUT we have stripes and shearer reckons it's hard going .....is it handpiece (as she thinks) or duff battery (it's 12v) as i think

Making sure there is enough tension to start with is important as is not having to tight , but if could be that your 1wv won't power it well enough at a decent tension, mains has way more power , full stop.

There's always these , dont need alot of tension, never run hot, can be prone to tekin a bit of skin thoughCould be Spin's handpiece isn't run in right yet.
My Suregrip needed a lot of extra tension to work last year when it was new - much more than I was ever used to with the Lister Ace/Golden/Tallygrip. It never got too hot, but it did get hotter than the Lister, too
But now it's done a few hundred it runs with a lot less tension and stays cooler.
Run in, it's turning into a very nice handpiece
Most of sheep I've done so far have been fine to good, the old screw at the back is still sh!t but they always are.Are sheep fit to shear???
Sheep are shearing better than most years. Even welsh brokers are ok.Most of sheep I've done so far have been fine to good, the old screw at the back is still sh!t but they always are.
I know I've been pushing new combs from day one., Haven't even had to use a medium bevels either.Sheep are shearing better than most years. Even welsh brokers are ok.
