SunshineHaven't used anything here in my lifetime but would like to trial some this coming year.
90% young grass harvested for silage, some steamy silage/haylage made for dry cows pre calving.
What is useful in either circumstance?
IMO it’s snake oil, only benefits are in wet silage, putting it on good silage is throwing money down the drainHaven't used anything here in my lifetime but would like to trial some this coming year.

My first cut goes into two pits. Used innocuoant in one, none in the other. No difference in analysis or when feeding out. Use your money to buy grass seed . Better return on investment.Used innoculants first year the contractor refused to use Add-F any more.
Never used them again, and never had as good silage as with Add-F.
Progress?
Why would an additive have any effect on the structural properties of the grass to stop slippage.Used addative last year first time in years reason silage has been slipping for last 4 years in a row silage has been in top 6 in local silage comp 2x in a row on analysis anyway feeding it now no heating at all and pit hasn't slipped
No idea but its the only thing we changed and its not slipped reason for using 1 was if it did slip wouldnt go hot as fastWhy would an additive have any effect on the structural properties of the grass to stop slippage.
