So can’t anyone use a single rotor anymore?🤣

I do but bought second hand and the guy I bought it from must have know what he was doing as I’ve never felt the need to adjust it.

😂

Makes a good job in hay or haylage. Never tried it on silage or other untedded grass.

I've a Kuhn single rotor rake, bought it used last year out of a collective sale, main purpose is for turning straw or raking blown straw, however we have used it to rake 2 or 3 into one for baling silage.

There is nothing to adjust on it other than the height off the ground and the pto speed.

I find its just operator skill where you run and how fast you go too, there really isnt much to it rowing grass, if you just want to move a 10ft over so its on or next to another you have to more or less straddle the bout you are moving, with the curtain running on the untouched swath, sometimes though its useful to move both of them to give the grass a shift and you need to go further over, but have to run slower to give it a chance to lift the grass and move it further.
My old fella is 80 and he makes a cracking 20 or 30ft swath with the single rotor so I'd reckon you will handle it.

The adjuster just turns the cam a bit so it rakes sooner and releases sooner or rakes later and releases later. The row width does alter a bit with this that’s probably the most important bit

Have you taken any land out of production from last autumn?
