I use Halifax Clarity credit card when travelling. Best exchange rates and no loading fees.
I don't think it's a massively overstated claim though. Kverneland are well over 100 years old as are Kubota. Both blacksmiths in the day, so collectively around 250+ years in the makingFive years?!! It's got "100+ years in the making" written on it!View attachment 476642

I didn't know Kubota was that old, what did they make originally?I don't think it's a massively overstated claim though. Kverneland are well over 100 years old as are Kubota. Both blacksmiths in the day, so collectively around 250+ years in the making
Iron foundry, cast iron pipes and the like apparently.I didn't know Kubota was that old, what did they make originally?
better yet, you can start writing on one device (say phone) and finish up on another (say tablet or laptop) as it's all synchronised. It was yesterday I learned that ^^
Today I learned that if you don't press the "Post Reply" button after writing a post you can come back the next day and it is still there waiting.
Go on then, Share your painThe mangement CAN be thicker than i thought or they thought i was thicker than i am
My crane has a problem with the drive gears slipping which makes it bounce every couple of feet, the expected me to carry 6 ton of molten metal and cast 2 jobs , also the drive wheel bearing is collapsing because of the severe shock . Words were said and the foreman said it will be alright, i told him to feckin drive it then because there is no way I'm going to prison when it drops metal on the lads on the floor and kills them.also told him if he makes one of the other drivers do it i will notify the hse. He hates it when i use the MY SAY IS FINAL bit . So they had to use the pendant crane and empty the furnace 1 ton at a time into plugs . So the jobs didnt get cast and i will be on the management's blacklist again (if i was ever off it ). I will do a lot of things but i will not risk the lives of the casting crew so the arseholes in blue hats can make their casting targets FECK EMGo on then, Share your pain

They bully folk into taking risks ( for the good of the company )then when something goes wrong deny any knowledge, they have done it several times and folk have been injured then lost their jobs and any chance of compensation.. there is no feckin way will they try and bully me... I'll nail their feckin hats onGood call I say
You see the same in aircrew. Technically the pilot / senior pilot was the final say on all flights. Often they come under pressure from non-flying management to change their mind. There are many air accident reports where the crew were pressured to fly against their instinctsThey bully folk into taking risks ( for the good of the company )then when something goes wrong deny any knowledge, they have done it several times and folk have been injured then lost their jobs and any chance of compensation.. there is no feckin way will they try and bully me... Today I l learned that I really should stick to the recipe when trying something for the first time - had a go at a lemon drizzle cake, looks absolutely perfect like out of a recipe book but being me I didn't want to be left with half a lemon sitting around so put ALL the zest into the cake and ALL the juice into the drizzle
I have renamed my creation the 'LEMON!! suck you face inside out' cake, fortunately after the shock of the first citrus hit Nell decided she quite likes it, which is good news for the dogs and birds cos that was where it was heading.
Or just make 2 at a time
