Spray on load liner

Currently getting some quotes to change the pick-up :nailbiting:

One of the quotes has come back with spray-on bed liner, rather than a plastic tub.

Anyone with experience of this?
Is it as good as they claim?
How does it compare to the tub insert?

No experience of them but if you can spray it on, will it be easily knocked off?
The genuine Toyota is brilliant, have friends with after market that is indestructible too, but had a Hilux with aftermarket a couple of years ago and it was not good, the dealership was going to get it re done somewhere else but ended up trading the truck.

I had an Amarok a few years ago that was a cancelled order and came with a spray on liner. It was brilliant. Never managed to damage it and was incredibly non slip. If you put something on the floor it just never moved

I had a Hilux with spray on for ten years it was perfect when sold, and now an Isuzu five years with spray on still perfect, wouldn't consider one without it.

My Hilux has a Lin-X spray on coating in the tup done by Toyota when I bough it

Its very good. Durable and no water trapped under a lining like drop in plastic ones.

Also things dont slide around in the bed like the plastic tubs.

Toyota use what’s called linex.I’ve had it in 5 trucks and never any issues.have regularly put diesel, spares and digger buckets in the buck.never cut through it with anything heavy.you can get the edge to lift with too much enthusiasm with a pressure washer but I’d reccomend it.million times better than plastic load liner that swells up and expands every time the sun comes out

Had our Amarok sprayed in 2013. Still got both the truck and the liner after 11 years of dairy farmer abuse. Far better than the drop in plastic tub things

Have had it on last 2 pickups. Get ours sprayed on by linex ourselves as Toyota didn't have it sprayed around the outside of the pickup. Brilliant stuff, no bed liner to rub or crack.
