I used to run 650’s on tractor and sprayer. Most of the pre em would be done with 900 on the tractor as I used to drill and spray with the same tractor. Would put 380 all round in spring for the narrow wheels

I’ve always been on 650,s on tractor too … but a new to me tractor has arrived on 520’s ( NEW) and I’m thinking I should possibly change to 620’s or 659’s… can’t make my mind up !!

620s on 36m

You would not know they were that wide from the road, and with RTK there will be no steering wobble to knock any extra down.
TBH if it is wet early April whatever you roll with the wide wheels gets irretrievably pushed into the dirt anyway.
Reason why I never think of getting row crops. It’s always wet and hilly here

My “wide” tyres on my Bateman hi lo are 17”.
My row crops are 12”.
My 17” tyres left a deep rut this spring.
I used to have 24” lgp tyres but all they did was leave a wider deep rut and wouldn’t grip. If I backed into a corner I couldn’t get out again as they just filled with mud reversing back.
Tracklayer?

710s all year round here on 48m tramlines in Lincolnshire , if you’ve been running through that crop in the autumn and early spring the tram is there all year , I spray off barley and rape and the wheels just run down the tram , there’s no crop run down or lost
