If you can go to a taller wheel. They go thru mud better and a bigger foot print helps with compaction.320/85r32 and 600 26.5 on a 24m case sp but thinking of vf420/85r30 or 380/85R30 to gain lower tyre pressures
I’ve always been on 650,s on tractor too … but a new to me tractor has arrived on 520’s ( NEW) and I’m thinking I should possibly change to 620’s or 659’s… can’t make my mind up !!I used to run 650’s on tractor and sprayer. Most of the pre em would be done with 900 on the tractor as I used to drill and spray with the same tractor. Would put 380 all round in spring for the narrow wheels
Leaving 18.4s on.
Despite the wet spring I have no ruts anywhere.
I loathe rowcrops.
Reason why I never think of getting row crops. It’s always wet and hilly here620s on 36m
You would not know they were that wide from the road, and with RTK there will be no steering wobble to knock any extra down.
TBH if it is wet early April whatever you roll with the wide wheels gets irretrievably pushed into the dirt anyway.
