Winter wheat just emerging after sugar beet. Can it be sprayed with Luximo as the frost goes out? What would be the kindest option please?

I wouldn’t put anything on just emerging ww immediately after a frost let alone luximo. I’m surprised it’s needed this late.
I did mine a fortnight ago; too wet to travel beforehand. But yes I would wait 3 or 4 days after the frost lifts. Not seen/heard of any crop safety issues with luximo though; have you??

Yes, I’ve heard it’s not to kind if limits are pushed with it. I would say newly emerging wheat on a frost is probably pushing the limits a lot further than the people were in early autumn!

Good to know. I suspect it’s probably the co-form and tank mix partners that don’t help the crop safety element. I’ve only ever seen significant damage with Defy under normal application conditions here; but I don’t tend to stack too much.

We had semi emerged in the Autumn, argon said no way as it'd cook it so I didn't spray that one field, he said he'd seen some badly scorched crops and that was without a frost.

It's hot stuff. Even preem back in autumn. Stacked with granular avadex and liberator though. The huge quantities of rain we had since then haven't helped tbh.
