That would be a better bus than a 106-54. The C has quadrishift, not hexashift, and will have a lower flow pump than a CIS or cebis model. They might even be open centre rather than ccls. Will still probably do all you need, if you’re used with a valtra a series.

I did see that on DoneDeal, it looks quite ideal to be honest. A no frills tractor with some creature comforts - and you're absolutely right, we have no need for CCLS or a higher flow pump.

A bit clumsy and expensive by the time it gets back to NI from Somerset - I do like the older T series though.

Sub £15k, oldish tractor you are taking pot luck in my opinion. How lucky do you feel? Just finished putting new clutch in my Renault Temis at 6600 hours. Refurbed head as well. Iveco engine, Renault gearbox, but all parts were still available through Claas. No air con. Least of my worries. Older cheaper tractors can require an eye watering amount of repair work and expense.

Never updated this thread.

Bought this around 9 months ago. Renault 640Rz with 10.5k hrs, £13.5k, cab susp and air con.

Serviced and put a front crank seal in, costing about £14k as she stands. Needs air con gas soon though!

Old Renault 145 and above might have gearbox trouble if abused and all turboed.
So a 120 (110 hp) or 133 (123 hp ) might be what you are looking for. Go for an all lever one, some have electronic hydraulics?? MWM engine same as built the Fendt reputation! Had mine for 21 years now (120-54) and just been in for main lift ram seal. She's on her 2 nd clutch as was on a forager early on.
them old renaults arnt about , youve had em all back!

If you’re a valtra man, why not another?

Fulton has a 106-54 but probably not enough up for you

that 106 was local to us , it might even have been ours, i can remember most reg no's but that one eludes me
