Telehandler wanted

Hi, my name is Ian and I'm new to this site I have a small holding with an Orchard and need to do a lot of work around it so am looking for a low cost reliable telehandler or tractor with a loader around about the place that they want to sell in the Norfolk area, I live in Bawdeswell.

Thanks in advance Ian

Respectfully, in my opinion you need to think ahead to what you'll be doing and narrow it down to which.

If it's just loader work, then get a telehandler.

But if you want an option in future to use implements or even a trailer, then it's tractor with loader.

My own notion would be that compact (ish) tractor with loader might suit you better, but no one knows your own circumstances better than yourself.

I'll happily sell you our telehandler?
If you want a 3 ton 7 metre one?
We're due an upgrade soon so it will be available in a few weeks.

Hi, Thanks for the quick reply I have a compact tractor so have the ability to add on all be it in a small way but I have to move a lot of earth around and like the telehandler for other aspects but haven't ruled out a larger tractor with loader, I don't want to spend more than £4800 though and thank you to it's yourself but Scotland, Finland and France is a bit to far to get it and you would probably want more than I can afford?
Spin Cycle thanks for the heads up with Johnson Bros Fakenham I will give then a call.

Their will be lots of fb scams and fake rubbish about so take care.
Reasonable one would be in a 8k range possibly?

Yes thanks for the advice I have seen the scams that is why I wanted to come on here and get an older one from a farmer that wants to upgrade, they are around for lower than 8k just not as pretty and older.

What is your present Compact tractor?

Is it man enough for a good FEL to be fitted, which will probably cost you your budget if buying new anyway?

Maybe you should be thinking of trading the present Compact in for a decent 30-40hp machine with a loader. This sale will up your budget a bit. If you go cabless, they can be got for a better price than cab. Tractor is more useful than a telehandler going forward too, as you can do field work etc.

Some ideas here. https://www.becksidemachinery.co.uk/loader-tractor-for-sale
