permanent boundary fenced ,including Railway and River.complete with Cca treated stakes befor ethey where banned.
Zero maintenance of it / total maintenance of livestock.
not a cheap thing to do but once done , even things like days away and the holiday if taken was a better value for money.

But a feed barrier will stop the cow from crapping on her dinner.

And if you can beg (steal or borrow 🎼 ) the feed barrier off of your neighbour, so much the better.

Is the shed she's confined in, the machinery used to harvest her dinner and the associated running costs or transport free as well? You have way more generous neighbours than I :LOL:

On Thursday 26th September, we’re holding a webinar for farmers to go through the guidance, actions and detail for the expanded Sustainable Farming Incentive (SFI) offer. This was planned for end of May, but had to be delayed due to the general election. We apologise about that.

Farming and Countryside Programme Director, Janet Hughes will be joined by policy leads working on SFI, and colleagues from the Rural Payment Agency and Catchment Sensitive Farming.
