Vredestein Traction Tyres?

Opinions?

They're only a couple of hundred quid more than BKT Agrimax for a set of 4 (520/85r42 & 480/70r30)

Tractor will predominantly be on cultivation and baler work, with some road haulage. Are the vredestein never wear, but never grip?

The bkt 70 series just melt away on road work, contractor friend has 65 series and is quite happy with them .
Long story but have one of each on the back of my old JD 6400, 480/70r38 size, and the Vredestein traction + would outlast two or even more BKT's

The old traxion+ would be designed for contractors doing a good amount of road work rather than field only. I've drove a tractor on them on slopes tho and they were fine. They've recently been replaced with traxion 65 though, which would be geared to lean more to field work as the curves are less extreme. More comparable to Goodyear optitrac. They're made in Holland as well as opposed to India in BKTs case as well.

Don't they all though?

Genuinely though, has anyone got anything out of a tyre companies warranty?
Some will .
But for me I found alliance Tyres, Nokian and trelleborg very helpful and would swap the tyres if we have problems.

I don't know what you did to your BKT tyres but the 580/70 on ours are doing 90% roadwork and they haven't worn at all in 1000hours. The trelleborgs they replaced were down to 50% by then. I wanted vredestein but it was in COVID lockdown and nobody had any but they have a good reputation.

580/70r38 BKT on my MF 6475, done just over 2000 hours, not much tread left.
