Dad ran a P3 on kero during the Suez crisis. He added lube oil to it as recommended by the Shell rep.

Older ones. I can't see the latest common rail T4/5 versions liking it. Even if they would, kero would have to be at a serious discount to gas oil to warrant changing as the calorific value is lower. It's easier to convert diesel fired driers to kero and the economics look better for this at the moment if you have the separate tanks.

Have run a defender on kero off road, Every tank I add in 500ml of 2 stroke oil for pump lube. 5k now perfect. No issues.

Old none common rail engines will run on kerosene but as said it doesn't have lubricant in it, so you need to add oil.
Heard that you want a gallon of hydraulic oil a tank roughly, never done it myself as I always had a decent motor that I didn't want to ruin it or get caught !

Project farm is absolutely ace.

He tried running an engine (can't remember if petrol or diesel) on crude oil, sweet and sour. One ran on it fine, the other didn't.

I think you can legally run a vehicle on whatever you like but need to declare the fuel used to the customs men?

It doesn't have dye in it like red diesel but it does have chemical markers in it when they do the test tube test when they dip your tank.

My parents just bought kero at 15.5ppl today.

Is red diesel coming down?
