20mm was the tally over the weekend, and it looks better for it already. Some of the wheat crops in the good land Stowmarket/Halesworth areas look pretty good. Spring crops still look poor though, so by no means all rosy!

We’ve had enough, don’t care if it doesn’t rain till September

Can't believe you've had so much and us so little! We don't live that far apart. Was spraying in a cloud of dust again today.

Even different ends of Aberdeen had dramatically different amounts, was at a farm at cove on Saturday and had nothing. Speaking to a fuel rep who stayed in Aberdeen yesterday and he said they'd loads over weekend.

Similar here, down near the Humber and the south side of it they had some in mid April, some early May then another 15mm mid may. 20miles north we only had the bit early May.

3 miles south of us had 30mm more in the last week, generally double our figures since feb.

You seem to be far worse off than us, so I really shouldn't moan so much. When I see some people's lawns burnt off I realise how fortunate we are.

12mm since last night. Started as we were putting the last tyres on the pit. Perfect management yet again:cool:
First cut nice and dry but probably 100 tons down over 100 acres. The grazing fields are looking burnt over all the knowes but a bit more rain on Saurday will set us up for a good regrowth. This is only the second proper wet day in the past 12 weeks and we usually have rain on 150 days per year.
