Some farms are just sh!t holes, and decent farmers should call them out. UK animal welfare and environmental measures are only as strong as the lowest denominator.
That's my outwintered sucklers stuffed then.

It seems to me that Americans are much more robust in the way they react to vegan propaganda threads as many seem to see them as an extension of Lefty wokeness and an attack on their freedom of speech.
The overwhelming popularity of Clarkson and the Yorkshire Farm show that even here, a huge majority aren't taking the vegan message seriously simply because it doesn't tally with what they see with their own eyes in the countryside, but our culture doesn't encourage speaking out and making a fuss.
I hope and expect that eventually the fad will pass and the majority will say enough is enough and we've had enough being preached to on so many subjects, but it will probably be after I've retired. I'm sure it will come though as the emperor's nakedness is exposed and the whole current nonsense is shown up for what it is.
If not, then I have a feeling that our softness will be our downfall and harder folks will take our place on the world stage.

So, the BBC has reported about the changes to milk labeling, from a farm, with cows standing in sxxt, and water as a backdrop. As most people know, water attracts bacteria, bacteria causes disease..............

The narrative has been conveniently shifted from Supermarkets to farms, even though farmers have zero influence on labeling, why were the Supermarket involved not interviewed ????

The images portray cows wandering about in pool of water (which of course is normal) but no one cares, as this is how all Dairy Farms operate anyway !!!!!

Who allowed them to film at that position ?????

Another PR disaster.............. !!
Eh , nearly as clever as talking aboot climate change and dairy cow emissions with a herd of Hereford cows in the background in a field or feedlot.....ffs🙄

The only thing the Vegan lobby got wrong (or right in there minds) was to attack animal farming instead of promoting the benefits of going Vegan (if their are any).

However, it is not going away, it is a global mega-trend, and the money men like mega-trends. So, at the moment anyone developing sludge food or manufacturing vegan food has no problem finding investment.

So, we need to respond in a positive way, and it's not that difficult to do so. But we MUST get our own PR right, and portray the right positive image, and benefits of a good balanced diet that includes meat and dairy.

I am very sad to admit, we had a joint of pork on Sunday from our local and very reputable butcher. It was not a patch on the pork supplied by our local ASDA, sad but true.

Don't get me wrong, it was good meat, however the one supplied by ASDA is better for quality, flavour, cooking etc.

Veganism and Wokeness are nibbling away at our history, traditional habits and life in general. The cancel culture has the large conglomerates shaking at the knee's. Being strong and speaking out is dead and gone, if the message is not what the woke brigade like, they will slaughter you on social media.

We must get in right, it is critical we portray the correct image for today's society.

At the moment we are like Man United, great team, great players but keep shooting ourselves in the foot.
