Yes but there’s nearly £20k of extra spec there.
Correct, a high spec R is a very different tractor to an M.

There was a demo 6155m floatin around here that was doin 50k on a 40k eco box.No same engines through the full range now . So other than the cab they're far from a simple tractor anymore.
If they did 50k I'd have 1 over an R
I've heard of a couple that have been doctored to do that as well but it's not a factory option yetThere was a demo 6155m floatin around here that was doin 50k on a 40k eco box.

Are the Ms 2 valve instead of 4 valve on the R like the old standard/premium on the 30 series?
Tidy late n low houred Rs selling well here as new ones are a way off delivery. Spec is crucial though.Resale on Rs is tough.
I’d go for the 30 series every day of the week. IMO the 20 series was 80% perfect, the 30 series was 90% there and ever since it’s been dropping as more savings have been made. Finding a low houred one will be your issue. What hours on the 6920? Keep that? Unless it’s an AP.Looking to swap our JD 6920s in. Not looking for much more hp or spec than what we have. Just something simple reliable and user friendly. Really have no intention of considering an R series so realistically we would look for a low houred 30 series or an M series.
Operator opinions would be gratefully appreciated Thanks

If they made an autotrac 7810 I think a lot of people would just keep rebuilding them. We’re they ever available with cab suspension? I know tls was in the go and cab suspension was definitely an option on the 20 series…And the 10 series was 100% perfect

The bigger 30 series (7930 etc) had issues but I’ve not heard of anything bothering the 64-7530’s as long as you buy with your eyes wide open and treat them with respect. I’m certainly keeping mine for as long as possible.I think I’d disagree. Ever since they’ve been adblue they’re some great tractors. Reliability is far, far better than the 30 series ever was
Where have you been? Don’t HGs or turbos count?!The bigger 30 series (7930 etc) had issues but I’ve not heard of anything bothering the 64-7530’s as long as you buy with your eyes wide open and treat them with respect. I’m certainly keeping mine for as long as possible.
Under a rock probably We’ve had experience with 6420 6430 6930 and 7530 and never had any of that. The 69 had an injector recall that was foc, 6420 zero issues, 6430 had brakes and a clutch pedal spring and 75 had a gearstick button module. You watch one will sh*t a brick now. I don’t touch autopowr, 50k or elec spools.Where have you been? Don’t HGs or turbos count?!
I’d sooner have a 30 series and pay for a HG or turbo than own anything else out there (inc newer jd). Next tractors will be lease hire or some such arrangement; judging by the bills people are getting for modern tractor repairs…BTW I think they are good tractors too

Very hard to get 7710 or 7810 on the second hand market. If they made an autotrac 7810 I think a lot of people would just keep rebuilding them. We’re they ever available with cab suspension? I know tls was in the go and cab suspension was definitely an option on the 20 series…
