If Will Jackson was at this meeting, why couldn’t he make a yes/no decision? Pathetic really, what do we as levy payers pay his salary for? Will, justify your position.
I become less impressed with Mr Jackson with every time his name appears, when he is dealing with RT and similiar issues that are even a tad contentious. Pretty damned useless would be my summation based on my personal interaction and what is reported....sounds a lot like a cop out to me
Will Jackson knows very clearly what the majority of levy payers want
How much longer before giving them hell? 6th October last year. So that's 6months gone.if correct levy payers need to make it clear how they want Will Jackson to vote on their behalf
get emailing him !

It’s already tumbling but it seems various people on the payroll of these organisations are desperately trying to keep things standing while making fools of themselves in the process. One day (and I can’t wait) this whole Nfu, Ahdb, red tractor, house of cards is going to come tumbling down. Slowly slowly catchy monkey!
NSA - thank you
I’ve just adopted a lambHopefully we are all members of the NSA now if we weren’t.
From FW:
An AHDB spokesperson said: “AHDB chose to abstain from the vote. Our view is that such a vote of this nature needs clear consideration and discussion within AHDB in the context of recent public statements by the Assured Food Standards board that recognises the need for change as well as the wider context on the role of assurance of which a review is currently being conducted.”
So they will be discussing this within AHDB- let’s hope they take into consideration the views of their levy payers too.
I think that’s perfectly true. I’ve no problem with (truly) voluntary schemes where the farmer can see a premium over the costs/hassle of being a member.Phil Stocker on farming today.
He said only a very small part of the market for lamb uses red tractor.
He went on to say "farm assurance is a good thing" but forgot to add "but only if it benefits the producer".
I should qualify this really...I become less impressed with Mr Jackson with every time his name appears, when he is dealing with RT and similiar issues that are even a tad contentious. Pretty damned useless would be my summation based on my personal interaction and what is reported....
Is is position actually tenable.....?
Pity it doesn't benefit their levy payersView attachment 1178453
So now we know which side AHDB is on!

Absolutely.Assume you are referring to Will Jackson?
Funny because he didn't hesitate to vote for the GFC in September.
Ahdb is looking more anti farming every day.
The only thing it has done is deny access to markets for non assured levy payers.Dim Jim goes on about RT giving access to markets which is total bo##ocks. Before RT everybody had access to all markets.View attachment 1178307
It's beginning to fall..............and long overdue !
RT has done sweet 'FA' to UK ag
