White van man , meIf you want to get a new view of your regular stamping ground, look at it through the wing mirror of you pickup.
Or turn round, bend down and look at it through your legs. But don't let anyone see you doing it.
Funny that, I saw an article saying that they got more viewers than BBC and Sky in their first week on air.I noticed that a Welsh paper stated the viewing figures for GB-News are five times less than the Welsh language version of the children's TV program Paw Patrol.
Glad to see you're supporting the shutting down of free speechI very much doubt Britain has slipped so far down the news gutter, as to make this sh1t show type channel even remotely successful.
Yes, Britain has a fairly downmarket tabloid sector, and the likes of the Torygraph, but these are nothing towards the aresholes in Fox News.
May GB News, sink without trace and bring its backers and frontmen with it, as a statement that Britain is not Redneck America.

Anyone would think you couldn’t trust the papers…

Seems all the critics are still watching...looking for more muck to spread. That's probably quite feasible. A lot of people will have tuned in to see what all the hype was about in the first few days and subsequently tuned back out when they could see how bad it all was, apart from the comedy value.

I'm trying to ignore you, but its as difficult as trying to ignore a lunatic banging his head against a brick wall.
there is no tommy robinson type news slurryYou see I agree that there is perhaps a general unease about coming out with some shall we say “straight talking”, in news and commentary from much of the main stream media. Nevertheless, its content is more than accurate, and quite simply does not stray into the realms of evangelically promoting a strict narrow one sided presentation of the facts.
Fox on the other hand, and seemingly the “raison detre” of GB News, is disturbingly narrow focus right wing Tommy Robinson type news slurry!
I dont know what Irish telly news is like but the UK stuff isnt news at all, it's the expression of the outlets opinion followed by condemnation of everything the uk does, especially its government, its history and anything middle aged plus white males do. They set out to stir trouble but all they do is cause many folk worry and turn people off from watching. It's no surprise that viewing figures are dropping just as newspaper sales have fallen, people are fed up with them. You see I agree that there is perhaps a general unease about coming out with some shall we say “straight talking”, in news and commentary from much of the main stream media. Not sure which side is to blame, the politicians for not answering questions or interviewers not allowing them to answer as they think they are the star of the show. The problem is the politicians are scared to tell the truth as it's often unpalatable, ie the nhs needs reform, people need to work not take the easy way out, people need to take responsibility for themselves and family etc etc. If they do the media will shout the nhs is up for sale, the unemployed are made scapegoats the government are uncaring etc etc instead politicians make vague promises about how much better they eillbe the those in power .well one thing RTE still does is call out BS when talked by politicians as seen in the RTE v Nigel farage were the presenter called him out on his lies, corrected him on his "facts" and the look of shock on his face was priceless
maybe if the UK media still did this, we would have a better standard of politicians
