Sorry Howard, cast my vote before reading the whole thing. Went for 0% thinking I had nothing planted yet . Would hope to drill at least 80% of planned acreage. If this poll had been in a few weeks rime and still nothing planted I’d be a lot less

Sandy loams will drill direct if needs must, but normally run tine and disc through first. Got a couple of hundred tons of fym to spread first on one field as I hauled it to the field just before the heavens opened.
One major benefit of lighter soils in a wet autumn. Never achieve the top yields
but a good average is the best I can expect and spend on.
