As above, what heavy duty power packs do people use to jump start farm vehicles, best value, quality and any other opinions would be appreciated.

A new battery. Nowt more irritating than a vehicle that won't start
and they dont cost 200+You can't beat a good quality set heavy duty set of jump leads. Makes all the difference when jumping.
Have got really good heavy leads but too often just cannot get them to ‘bite’ or connect; basically they don’t seem able to transfer the power from the slave to the dead battery, so you spend ages getting on and off the dead tractor playing with the jaws of the leads at both ends, often, like yesterday, to no avail! If anyone can shed light on this problem please do; the leads get warm but too often the power just doesn’t get to the dead battery.and they dont cost 200+

Another of your priceless pearls of wisdom Baldrick. Where would we be without you?

You may mock but I find it a very useful trick for testing the “thump” left in the master battery (see pic)
