Situation Vacant Busy agricultural contractor seeks additional tractor drivers

2021 seasonal operators required

We are a agricultural contracting company incorporating a straw baling business and running alongside a 1000 cow dairy unit in north cambridgeshire.

We are looking for a number of highly skilled, conscientious operators for the upcoming season.

Our busiest period typically runs from March through to November with the opportunity for lot’s of hours! We can be flexible with start and finish dates dependant on your other commitments.

The roles would include

Digestate/slurry tanking (4500g newrock tankers)

Umbilical spreading (24mt dribble bar)

Grass silage (rake man, chopper pilot, trailer drivers, clamp man)

Rye harvest

Spring and autumn cultivation’s

Baling ( mf 4x4 and 4x3)

Chasing (heath sc and mc)

Stacking/loading lorries (jcb 536-95)

Straw haulage

Maize harvest (trailer drivers)

Occasional cattle handling

Other general farm work and maintenance



Candidates would ideally have experience in one or more of the tasks but training would be provided. Telehandler ticket, understanding of simple mechanics and a sense of humour would be advantageous.

We run a fleet of modern NH tractors which are maintained to a high standard in house, you would be responsible for the daily maintenance and upkeep of your tractor.

Good rates of pay are available along with shared accommodation. A number of full time positions could potentially be available for the right candidates
