Case vs New Holland

Have been looking for a fresh bigger tractor now for a while and anything decent is strong money. Have been talked into looking at a new one by a couple of reps historically were blue blooded with a few red ones thrown in for good measure.
So looking at a t7.210 and the puma equivalent other than one has manual spools everything is roughly the same spec. Money wise the blue one is only slightly cheaper but it's terms and the warranty aren't as good as the red one.
Never had a Case since they merged with New Holland. Was told they loose more money and don't drive as nice.
Has anyone run both and found this to be the case?

What advantage does the case warranty have over the NH?

I got a new T7.210 last week and negotiated a 4 year warranty. In years 2/3/4 there’s a £150 excess but still well worth it imo. You don’t get much fixed for less than £150 these days.

Also, I’d take the one with electric spools any day of the week, regardless of colour :)

Do the electric spools give much trouble, if any?

Had no issues with my last ones at all. Wouldn’t be without them now. Stuff like timers and adjusting the flow, not only that they are right at your fingertips.

Just keep a cloth on the cab floor and wipe every pipe you put in the back to stop dirt getting in.

Are the control paddles still made by Fisher Price?

New Holland warranty not the best, your £150 excess is on every claim so if you put your tractor in with multiple warranty issues you are charged £150 for each one,we took ours on platinum 5yr this time which is as close to 1st year warranty as you get with no customer contribution.

Same machine mechanically but Case has a better control scheme and cab layout, the dash on the pillar as opposed to behind the wheel, the split throttles letting you set a lower and an upper bound as well as Case being the only CVT with a usable stick mode makes for a nicer stay in the red cab.

It's not a huge difference since pedal mode is the same so I wouldn't pay that much of a premium for the Case but I would pay a bit extra...

We run case, have to say i probably prefer the NH but backup from the Case dealer/rep is excellent so that makes the difference for us as mechanically the machines are the same.

NH has lower and upper Rev limits. It’s the same dial that works the droop control when your not in PTO mode.

I never use the NH hand throttle on our auto command. No need as can just use the presets.
NH sidewinder joystick is much nicer and spaced out than the case multicontroller lever. And yes we have both brands on farm.

in cab storage on both brands are crap though. Seat barely goes back far enough as well. Cab is desperate for an upgrade as I honestly think the 40/60/TM series cab was better.

The case is a true 3 year warranty with no excess like the new Holland one has.
I'm not keen on the big numb leds that look like they shine on the mirrors on the case.
