Claas vs krone triples

So we've been running krone B1000/f360 mowers, have been pleased with them for the most part, very well built robust mowers ,wear parts are expensive, imo
Have a good deal on equivalent claas triple setup so we're curious what other owners/operators opinions are concerning claas reliability and durability.
Would we regret going from krone to class? Clean cut in all conditions? Krone can struggle here in some conditions.
Thanks

Don't want to upset anyone but on these shores at least, I don't believe people opt to buy Claas equipment because their parts are cheap!
No doubt you pay the price for wearables regardless of whatever brand you have, I guess it be a question of whose wearables hold up/last the longest?
We run over some rocky ground in the course of a season and feel like the krone has been very forgiving in such conditions, really like the flotation system

You do see a few of those around, we've always been under the impression that they were a bit mickey mousey, if you know what I mean
I was super-impressed with ours, even mowing at 20mph plus with good hp per mower they lasted bloody well.
One did a gearbox at around the 20,000 acre mark.
Old tech now but I actually don't see much "new" -just "improved" if you see what I mean? It boils down to dealership/aftersale support as much as anything else IMO

Both good mowers only problem we found with a claas front mower is in flat crops the mower would not make a nice clean job , but i think the new ones are better at this .

Have krone collect mowers and they are on their second season have had a good run out of them to be fair. But a-couple of beerings in the module / beds are starting to go loose. Also the spring plate that holds the blades on 3 or 4 of modules have gone softer compared to the rest. Haven’t lost any blades from it yet tho. I’ve been told that class mowers are lighter in weight compared to the krone mowers. A mate ran Pottinger and they would throw blades quite often through tyres and fuel tanks ect

Not that size, no. Roller conditioners are not that popular in Europe due to climate. We tend to grow more grass than alfalfa or Lucerne etc

i hear you. I’m from Northern Ireland so have seen plenty of grass made into silage.
Rollers are only option here doing mostly cereal hay for export and domestic. Some legumes such as vetch also.

been interested in sip though since you started with them but couldn’t find what I was after so thought I’d ask

No problem. Not sure who handles SIP in Oz now. I think Webbline have an office there but maybe not representing SIP. I’ll find out

On Thursday 26th September, we’re holding a webinar for farmers to go through the guidance, actions and detail for the expanded Sustainable Farming Incentive (SFI) offer. This was planned for end of May, but had to be delayed due to the general election. We apologise about that.

Farming and Countryside Programme Director, Janet Hughes will be joined by policy leads working on SFI, and colleagues from the Rural Payment Agency and Catchment Sensitive Farming.

This webinar will be...
