Corona - Holiday Lets

Their are more holiday let’s up here now than than holiday makers , I’ve said for three years their will be a huge correction in the market some have went well over the score !! This is the start of the correction , all encouraged by councils government totaly irresponsible they have been.
Don't worry, once the situation improves and restrictions lifted folk will be looking to get away and I think most will opt to stay in the UK in case it kicks off again.

Yes, they are talking about lifting and reimposing the restrictions for a year or so. Everyone pulling together for a month or two is one thing but as time goes on the compliance will get worse and if the state aid is in place, it will place huge strain on national finance.

Well who e
Well it doesn't seem that the polite message is getting through. How do you suggest that the "only travel if necessary" message should be delivered?

With consistency but politely. It will sink in then. Dont get sucked into the hysteria

Caravan Club have just advised all their sites are shutting now - probably as a result of the influx of foreigners in their caravans/motorhomes migrating over the past few days.

All 5 van sites must now do likewise.

I wouldn't be surprised if the govt forced all private campsites to do likewise too.

Looks like the caravanners will all be forced to go back home now.

We are cancelling all bookings for next 3 months and onwards on a rolling monthly basis , refunds will be given. The biggest fear is what happens if a holidaymaker develops the virus when here or even thinks they have signs as they could not be moved and potential risk to cleaner etc
Don't know if it is worth considering a 3 month let as £1.5 k /week is tempting
