Dribble bar is listed as a fundable item.
A quick search suggests that splash plates will be banned from 2025. But then I found something saying 2022 ?
Is a ban a cast iron certainty or just something that is proposed ? Is a dribble bar going to be the minimum requirement or will there be adaptors to a splash plate ?
Thanks.
I think it is inevitable splash plates will be banned. If I was buying a tanker now I would at the very least make sure it was compatible with a trailer shoe or dribble bar.

We had a guy out who has been doing a lot of farms cameras around our area and he said for that spec you would be looking upwards of £1k. Whereas ones that don't pan are £120ish. So he recommends having more cameras that don't move covering the same area as you will have a lot more vantage points at once. He also made the point that a moveable one only records where you have left it looking at. This made us think certainly the grant for cameras is no where near worthwhile pursuing
Strictly speaking.... the grant is for livestock monitoring... not farm security.
However, I can envisage a couple on buildings where the pan would do both....
Well on the application form it says front mounted reeler with a minimum of 400m of pipe.Has anyone clarified the cost regarding the slurry reeler?
It says it's supposed to include pipe. But at that standard cost. It is not possible to buy pipe and reeler?
my situation too. want some smaller things but rather do it as and when i want and not have someone with a clip board potentially turn up wanting to see the said items.Decided going to leave it, was only really looking for something else to get the spend up to the minimum, only thing that is really needed is the eid reader and it's not enough money on its own. Had a good draw from round 2 will leave it at that.
i had claimed in a previous round, about £6k was looking at direct drill but could not proceed as not enough grant available. which I knew but 6k toward it would of been ok. but computer said no.If you claim for multiple items that amount to more than the £12,000 maximum amount, is it possible to only claim a partial amount on an item? Or will it get thrown out?
I haven't claimed in either of the previous rounds so wondered if I could max out this roundi had claimed in a previous round, about £6k was looking at direct drill but could not proceed as not enough grant available. which I knew but 6k toward it would of been ok. but computer said no.
Its tricky getting items to add up the 12k grantI haven't claimed in either of the previous rounds so wondered if I could max out this round
