Lots of problems for supply of anything over the past 12 months, many manufacturing places have been shut for weeks/months at a time due to covid all over the world so 12months on this is starting to affect assorts because the normal stock levels at dealers and the vehicle manufacturers runs out and needs replacing, it the factory that make the part i shut or on reduced manufacturing then they start to get a back log of orders and has a knock on effect all down the chain to the end user.

Supply of goods is going to remain an issue for many people for a long time to come yet IMO.

It seems to be even worse for stuff going into the EU from the UK . Recently a friend tried to order a large UK manufactured topper from the UK. But the dealer in the end said he simply couldn't supply it due to the export complexities of now being a third country.

Yes, i don't directly import anything or do export now, busy enough with out the extra hassle.

Be thankful you are not waiting for Tesla car parts. I have heard stories of windscreens taking 3-6 months to arrive, cars being off road in meantime plus months of delays for parts following accident repairs. The quote costs for windscreens and accident repairs on them are through the roof! The joys of foreign and new technology. Insurance premiums on them starting to reflect this.

Hope these owners are keeping their " carbon" ideals and catching the train or bus

BTW...still haven't got my telehandler.

Probably got the bits on a stock order to keep costs down as mentioned early.
If it's not serious work that stops the machine running could you take it and have the work done later or maybe say you'll pay for the parts to be overnighted?

Other option is cancel it and buy one from somewhere else.
I'd go visit the dealer with some suggestions.

On Thursday 26th September, we’re holding a webinar for farmers to go through the guidance, actions and detail for the expanded Sustainable Farming Incentive (SFI) offer. This was planned for end of May, but had to be delayed due to the general election. We apologise about that.

Farming and Countryside Programme Director, Janet Hughes will be joined by policy leads working on SFI, and colleagues from the Rural Payment Agency and Catchment Sensitive Farming.
