Digestate

Still too much readily available N to spread at a reasonable application rate in the autumn, except where RB209 says there is a crop need eg before OSR or onto grass.

I know the boss of a local composting facility about the chance of getting some for my garden as they were doing it in one tonne bags. His reply was that he was proud of his garden and would not use it for all the tea in china☹️
He said that what turned up was diabolical as the average punter does not give a damn what goes in each bin.
I suspect much the same for AD.
Incidentally I have also tried putting these compostable bags into my compost heap, after 30 months and two turnings they are exactly as they went in, never again.

Do you put plastic in food recycling bin? I would just put food. Theres another bin for plastic as far as I know. I'm tight, we don't throw food out.
There’s a lot of biodegradable plastic in some digestate
The food waste is put in those bags then into the plant

We have had it from food digester spread on with umbilical excellent stuff really makes the crop grow but reliability of when they will show up and the unevenness of how they spread it means that they won't be coming back here. Also the concern of what is actually in it is a problem
How did they spread it & what with ?
