Ford 6610 Lacking Power

I've 2 Ford 6610s, a mk1 from 1984 and a mk2 from 1986. The mk2 is seriously down on power and we can't work out why, it won't keep up with the mk1 at all and both are NA standard, we've done all of the usual checks and gone through the fuel system and fixed any issues with the lines dragging air. This hasn't made any difference so we decided to turn the fuel pump up (the minimec inline injector pump), this hasnt made any difference powerwise and the tractor struggles and labours just as much as before. Anybody got any ideas what to do next? The engine hasn't done a great deal of hours and runs sweet as a nut, its had new injector nozzles, new lift pump, new filters etc. Any help would be greatly appreciated, cheers.

2 things that occur but might not be relevant, would a 6610 have the fuel tap gauze thing that gets blocked on a 6600? And do those inline pumps not have a rack or something inside them that sticks? I wonder if something could be done to free it? I think I might have read it on a thread about 5000 fuel pumps on here.,

Failing that go get a copy of 'Heritage Commercials' from W.H Smith, there's usually one or two advertise in that.

My thoughts exactly.

I take a diesel pipe off by the diesel pump and stick a compressor or a bicycle pump onto it and blow air back into the tank taking all the gunk with it. It often stays good for a year or more and is only a 5 minute job.
Fuels flowing very freely, we've gone through the fuel lines and replaced all of the perished rubber seals and olives

Have you checked the fuel pump timing. Is the injector pump still blue or is it silver. If the latter it’s been reconditioned before at some time so may have been refitted incorrectly? Has the engine ever been rebuilt, maybe timing wrong on reassembly.

Injector pump hasn't been reconditioned, thats next on the list but wanted to make sure on here first incase i miss something. As far as i'm aware its had a new engine in at some stage but done little hours since fitted, sub 1000
